Although their TLC show was scrapped amid allegations the Honey Boo Boo family matriarch “Mama June” Shannon was seeing a convicted child molester, the McIntyre clan keeps on keeping on, posting regular video clips and assorted updates.
In her latest missive Mama June wishes daughter “Pumpkin” (aka Lauryn) a happy birthday and references her car accident last year as well as the family’s travails and signals a wish to move forward:
“happy bday pumpkin I know we have your ups and downs and we been through so much in the last yr with your brain injury from the car on Jan 6 last yr we still have good days and bads one but I know we will make it through all of this together abd I know we r all looking forward to the new chapter of our life love ya girl as I am of all of u y’all r my rock and my everything I’m not saying we r perfect but we r our own perfect dysfunctional family that love each other without a doubt and would hurt someone if they tried 2 do anything 2 us hope u have a great day.”
Mama June has never been one for a lot of punctuation.
Meanwhile estranged daughter Anna “Chickadee” Cardwell announced on her public Facebook page that she has retained a management firm and hinted at a return to television: “Well just join GRMEDIAFIRM Management maybe you will see more of me and my family,” posted Anna, who seems to have inherited a disdain for punctuation.
The firm describes themselves thusly: “GR Media is an entertainment company specializing in Celebrity Management and Public Relations. We represent Reality Stars, Artists and Top Plastic Surgeons.”
It’s not the first suggestion of a “Honey Boo Boo” 2.0. Her “Uncle Poodle” also has hinted that something could be in the works.
