Selena Gomez, in town filming a movie with Paul Rudd, posed for a photo with STK manager Fred Alexander during her recent visit to the Midtown hotspot.

Here’s a description of the book it’s based on, per Amazon:

Jonathan Evison has crafted a novel of the heart, a novel of unlikely heroes traveling through a grand American landscape, and most of all, a story that offers a profound look into what it takes to truly care for another person. Bursting with energy and filled with moments of absolute beauty, this bighearted and inspired novel ponders life’s terrible surprises as well as its immeasurable rewards.”

Rudd’s no stranger to Atlanta of course. He finished work on “Ant-Man,” which was based out of the new Pinewood Studios facility in Fayette County, late last fall. Previously he was here for “Anchorman 2” and “Wanderlust.”Here’s a great photo of Gomez, who dined at STK Atlanta this week. She enjoyed Executive Chef Mark Alba’s seared diver scallops entree special along with lobster mac and cheese, creamed spinach and sweet corn pudding sides. The Midtown steakhouse is a favorite among visiting celebrities, and
has welcomed stars including Vince Vaughn, Samuel L. Jackson, Jessica Simpson, Ashlee Simpson, Keri Hilson and Kim Kardashian, to name a few.

And it’s a star itself, having served as one of the filming locations for the movie “Need for Speed.” Gomez posed for this great photo with
STK manager Fred Alexander during her visit.
