Bobbi Kristina Brown remains hospitalized following a Jan. 31 medical emergency. The 21-year-old’s sad plight has captivated fans, friends and media outlets alike.
Photographers have set up outside Emory hospital and a throng of journalists temporarily descended upon the Fulton County Courthouse the day Bobbi Kristina’s beau Nick Gordon was due to appear on traffic charges (the case was continued).
Now here’s a report from Us magazine suggesting some family members are actually trying to profit from her difficulty, asking for certain perks in exchange for giving interviews.
No one has asked me for any money; the AJC doesn’t pay people to interview them. It’s not at all unusual for magazines to pay for stuff though – celebrity wedding photos and baby pictures are often published through exclusive contracts.
Last week Bobby Brown’s attorney issued a statement last week saying “it is requested that the media cease speaking with unauthorized members of the family” after a cousin announced plans for a “meet and greet with fans.”
