Roy Moore leads in closely watched race for US Senate

Ang Lee movie to film at Georgia Dome; lots of extras opportunities

Acclaimed filmmaker Ang Lee, known for projects including “Life of Pi,” “Brokeback Mountain” and “Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon,” is in Atlanta now working on “Billy Lynn’s Long Halftime Walk.”

The movie will be shooting at the Georgia Dome later this month and needs tons of extras. Details below.

The film is based on the novel by Ben Fountain, about U.S. soldiers sent on a PR campaign to rally support for the war in Iraq. The cast includes Vin Diesel, Kristen Stewart, Garrett Hedlund, Steve Martin and Chris Tucker along with Atlanta’s own Ric Reitz.

Here’s the info from the casting folks:

“BILLY LYNN’S LONG HALFTIME WALK
Seeking Caucasian Men and Women
Age 18 and over

Location: GA Dome – Which means you are inside. smile emoticon 
Rate: 64/8

They will be full days which means you should have no other commitments.

If you are submitting to one of the Fan days you must be avail for all days within that fan group. Please pull out your calendar and make sure you are avail.

11 DAY FAN – Must be avail all days
April 20th, 21st, 22nd, 23rd and 24th These are night shoots – Which means we will start around 5pm and shoot til 6am. These are approx hours.
April 27th, 28th, 29th, 30 , May 1st and 4th – These are Day Shoots.
