Jenabu Williams and his 6-year-old have become small-screen celebrities for the most awesome of reasons. Williams captured a video of himself and his son Joshua reciting what he calls their daily pledge and posted it to his public Facebook page.
With his dad’s help the younger Mr. Williams pledges to start each day grateful that God woke him up, that he will go to school to learn and will and will turn away from negative influences in order to seize the most out of life and become the leader God has created him to be.
“Start your day off with something positive,” Mr. Williams the elder, who works at The Boys’ Club of New York – Department of Educational Services, says to all viewers at the end. “Our kids can learn. It’s our job to teach them. Let’s go!”
The tag-team performance out of Paterson, N.J. has been viewed more than 100,000 and has inspired countless viewers.
