Talk about a disturbance in the Force: the projector bugged out during a midnight screening of “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” in Los Angeles and the crowd went berserk.

Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg’s baby and dog dressed in “Star Wars” costumes win the Internet

Erik Melendez, a student at UCLA studying political science, posted the above video and this lament: “Projector at Star Wars midnight 3D show at the Arclight ruined, stopped, then started again towards the end of the movie. The movie was spoiled and everyone in the theater went crazy.”

Here in Atlanta an advance press screening of “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” at the theater in Atlantic Station was interrupted three times by power outages later blamed on Georgia Power. You should have heard the F-bombs flying.

You think Quentin Tarantino is somehow secretly behind the snafus or at least privately chuckling about them? The “Hateful Eight” director says the “Star Wars” distributors are out to destroy him with their “totalitarian” marketing tactics.

In brighter news, an Atlanta father and son made some great memories by sitting through an entire “Star Wars” marathon, taking in the first six films before a screening of “Force Awakens.”
