Ryan Coogler, Michael B. Jordan team with Chadwick Boseman for “Black Panther”

Director Ryan Coogler and actor Michael B. Jordan, who were in Atlanta last year promoting “Creed,” team up next with Chadwick Boseman for “Black Panther.” The project, also to star Lupita Nyong’o, will film partly in Atlanta, following “Ant-Man,” “Captain America: Civil War” and “Guardians of the Galaxy 2” as Marvel continues making Atlanta its filming home.

Boseman has spent time in Atlanta in the past, on a promotional tour for “Get On Up,” the James Brown biopic in which he starred in the leading role. He also portrayed Jackie Robinson in “42,” which filmed in a number of Georgia locations.
