A woman who is allegedly obsessed with Usher was arrested outside a recording studio earlier this month for breaking a restraining order. TMZ broke the story.
Darshelle Jones has been following the Atlanta R&B star for years. He’s placed multiple restraining orders on her after she showed up at his Johns Creek home twice.
Earlier this month, she was awaiting outside a recording studio with an iPad trying to catch a glimpse of him. She was 100 feet, far closer than the restraining order allows (200 yards or 600 feet). She was booked for aggravated assault.
Here’s the police report narrative:
On May 5, 2016 around 7:00 p.m. I Officer A.Bowers unit #3281 responded to off duty units that stated they had a female detained in reference to a dispute call. When I arrived on scene I was met by Atlanta Police Officers Chinyelu, and Faircloth that stated Ms. Darshelle Jones was outside of a recording studio in violation of a stalking protective order. The two officers that were first on scene saw Jones across the street holding an ipad trying to record the victim who was inside. Ms. Jones was found to be within approximately 100 feet of the recording studio where the victim Mr. Usher was doing business. The victim was able to produce a valid permanent default stalking protective order (Civil Action No. 2015CV260861) against the arrestee Ms. Jones. The protective order states to not be within 200 yards of the victim. Any further contact with the victim please contact Mr. Usher’s attorney Mr. Farah Finley. Ms. Jones was charged with aggravated stalking and taken to Fulton County Jail without incident. Ms. Jones property was turned into the property control unit.
