The TP tradition at Marietta High School rolls on

Back-to-school means one thing at Marietta High School: Toilet paper.

Last year, following who knows how many first days of extra-absorbent, three-ply fun, a new principal announced a crackdown and some students were told they’d face punishments such as missing football games or serving in-school suspensions. Many longtime residents – including some parents who may have been known to hurl a roll or two back in the day – were furious.

This year, with another new principal at the helm (the previous one having been promoted to a new administrative job at school district headquarters), the cushiony tradition rolled on:
