The new “Jumanji” reboot with Kevin Hart, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, Nick Jonas, Jack Black and Karen Gillan and a host of others has wrapped filming in Atlanta. The project started work in Hawaii before heading here.

“We had an amazing time. I think we really made something special,” said The Rock during a farewell speech. “Thank you so much.”

Black gave a shout out to some of the folks behind the camera:

“Let’s talk about some of these crew. There are a lot of all-stars on this crew!”

The crew, talent and others got to Atlanta just as our 40-plus day dearth of rain was ending and menacing storms came pounding through town.

Here’s how Nick Jonas, Jack Black and Karen Gillan sheltered during the worst of it.

The movie’s due out next year. Sony’s publicity department describes it thusly:

“In a brand new Jumanji adventure, the tables are turned as four teenagers are sucked into Jumanji’s world – pitted against rhinos, black mambas and an endless variety of jungle traps and puzzles. To survive, they’ll play as characters from the game: meek Spencer becomes a brave explorer (The Rock); hulky jock Fridge becomes a tiny genius (Hart); It-girlBethany becomes a bookworm professor  (Black); and unathleticMartha becomes an amazonian warrior (Gillan). To beat the game and return to the real world with their lives, they’ll have to start seeing things in an entirely different way.”

That's an official wrap on #JUMANJI! (just wait to the end of this to hear what @jackblack felt he had to announce;). As I'm saying in this vid, I can't express my gratitude enough for our incredibly hard working and brilliant production crew – the backbone and spirit of our business. THANK YOU and look forward to seeing you all down the road. We made a great movie that honors and evolves the cool and dangerous #Jumanji mythology – one that that I think the world's gonna dig. And finally, like so many of us, Robin Williams was a hero of mine and one of the main reasons why I signed on and wanted to make and produce this film. Pay homage to the legend of "Alan Parrish" (name of Robin's character in the original). Thank you to the William's family for their support. I truly believe we made something you guys will be proud of. Until then that's a DJ wrap. And to quote ol' Luke the Drifter, Hank Williams himself… If the good Lord's willin' and the creek don't rise, I'll see you down the road. #Jumanji #OfficialWrap #AndJackBlackWithTheTurtleHeadAction #NiceOneBuddy 😂👊🏾
