Chris Evans starred in the title role of Atlanta-filmed “Captain America: Civil War” and will be back soon for the next two Marvel movies to film here, “Avengers: Infinity War” and “Avengers: Whatever Title They Come Up With.”

But after that, he might be hanging up his shield for good.

“My contract is up,” he said during a visit to “The Ellen DeGeneres Show.”

We’re guessing the suits at Marvel might be thinking about a new contract. The two-movie Avengers project to be headquartered at Pinewood Studios’ Fayette County facility will be the largest one ever to film there, with a combined budget in the $1 billion (that’s billion, with a B) neighborhood.

In the nearer future, Evans stars with Octavia Spencer and Mckenna Grace in “Gifted,” which filmed in Savannah and Tybee Island.
