James Gunn will write, direct “Guardians of the Galaxy 3”

“Guardians of the Galaxy vol. 2” isn’t even out yet but fans can rejoice at some exciting news: there will be a threequel.

“I’m returning to write and direct Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3,” director James Gunn said in an expansive social media post. (The entire thing is below).

GG2 filmed at Atlanta’s Pinewood Studios facility in Fayette County; presumably GG3 will shoot here as well.

New mom Keshia Knight Pulliam is ready for more children.

“I love being a mom. It’s the greatest title, the greatest job I’ve ever had and I’m looking forward to doing it again,” she said during a quick interview Tuesday at the red-carpet screening of Atlanta-filmed “Fate of the Furious.”

“Mama’s out on the town! It’s just nice not to have throw-up in my hair today,” she joked.

Chris Evans starred in the title role of Atlanta-filmed “Captain America: Civil War” and will be back soon for the next two Marvel movies to film here, “Avengers: Infinity War” and “Avengers: Whatever Title They Come Up With.”

But after that, he might be hanging up his shield for good.

“My contract is up,” he said during a visit to “The Ellen DeGeneres Show.”

“Baby Driver,” a high-speed thriller with Ansel Elgort in the title role and also starring Kevin Spacey, Jamie Foxx, Jon Hamm, Lily James, Jon Bernthal and Eiza González, felt the love deep in the heart of Texas.

The movie, filmed in Atlanta and due out Aug. 11, was among the Audience Award winners at the prestigious SXSW festival.

Marvel’s “Avengers: Infinity War” will film in Atlanta soon

The latest Marvel movie headed our way is “Avengers: Infinity War.” Actually, it’ll be two “Avengers” movies.

The project reunites many cast members who have been in Atlanta for previous films, including “Captain America: Civil War” stars Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner and Robert Downey Jr.; “Guardians of the Galaxy 2” stars Chris Pratt and Zoe Saldana; Karen Gillan, who will appear in “Guardians” as well as the recently wrapped “Jumanji”
