Marvel would love to film its superhero blockbusters in Hollywood but keeps filming in Atlanta instead.
The reason why is simple. It’s much less expensive to film here, thanks to Georgia’s film-friendly tax policies.
“If you ask any business person, they would say that’s the biggest part of it,” brand president Kevin Feige told reporters during a tour of Marvel Studios’ California facility, Deadline reported.
“We’d love to make movies (in Hollywood),” he continued. …
“Guardians of the Galaxy vol. 2” isn’t even out yet but fans can rejoice at some exciting news: there will be a threequel.

Chris Evans starred in the title role of Atlanta-filmed “Captain America: Civil War” and will be back soon for the next two Marvel movies to film here, “Avengers: Infinity War” and “Avengers: Whatever Title They Come Up With.”
But after that, he might be hanging up his shield for good.

Great news for fans of Adam Sandler movies: Netflix promises at least four more.
If history’s any guide, they’ll be awful – and hugely profitable. Although his past Netflix projects have earned withering reviews and drawn accusations of ethnic insensitivity, they make tons of money.
“Baby Driver,” a high-speed thriller with Ansel Elgort in the title role and also starring Kevin Spacey, Jamie Foxx, Jon Hamm, Lily James, Jon Bernthal and Eiza González, felt the love deep in the heart of Texas.
The movie, filmed in Atlanta and due out Aug. 11, was among the Audience Award winners at the prestigious SXSW festival.
