Marvel’s latest “Avengers” movie has been filming in Atlanta. It’s headquartered at Pinewood Studios in Fayette County and has done some location work as well. Shooting a massive blockbuster is a huge, time-consuming job but stars Mark Ruffalo, Scarlett Johansson and Chris Hemsworth made space for a little side hustle.

Teen romance-comedy “The Pact,” directed by Kay Cannon of “Pitch Perfect” renown, is filming in Atlanta and needs some extras ready to smooch.

“Guardians of the Galaxy vol. 2” isn’t even out yet but fans can rejoice at some exciting news: there will be a threequel.

“I’m returning to write and direct Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3,” director James Gunn said in an expansive social media post. (The entire thing is below).

Tyler Perry and the hit AMC series “The Walking Dead” are business partners now.

Perry’s newly acquired Fort McPherson, a former army base just southwest of downtown Atlanta, is now home to 14 sound stages. His movie “Boo!
